Ultra Mirage El Djerid UMED is a running event that takes place in the heart of the Tunisian Sahara, specifically in Ong Jmel. Partici- pants can choose between two distances: 50km and 100km. Each year, the event attracts over 300 participants from around twenty different nationalities.

Through this sporting event, UMED aims to support local tourism by highlighting the beauty and uniqueness of the Tunisian desert and showcasing local culinary products as a way of making a positive impact on the region and the community
